Tear Up The Contract - MESSAGE 1: The Fine Print of the Devil’s Deal

This episode elucidates the profound truth that many individuals are unwittingly ensnared by false contracts, which manifest as spiritual, emotional, and mental agreements birthed from adversity, temptation, and societal deceptions. We delve into the ramifications of these agreements, which exert significant influence over our identities and relationships. With the revelation that these contracts are not merely abstract concepts but possess tangible power, we are reminded of the liberating message of Jesus Christ, who offers a new covenant characterized by truth and life. The discussion further emphasizes the importance of recognizing and dismantling the lies that bind us, as we explore the insidious nature of the devil's contracts that conceal devastating costs beneath their seemingly benign exteriors. Ultimately, we are called to reject these false agreements and embrace the transformative promises of God, thereby reclaiming our lives and destinies in alignment with His divine purpose.

The discourse initiates a profound exploration into the nature of spiritual agreements that individuals unwittingly establish throughout their lives. We are reminded of the adversarial forces that seek to undermine our vitality, as articulated in the biblical assertion that 'the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.' This foundational premise serves as a precursor to our subsequent examination of the various false contracts that many of us have entered into, often without conscious awareness. These agreements, forged through experiences of pain, societal pressures, and dysfunctional relationships, wield significant influence over our choices, identities, and overall well-being. We delve into the ramifications of such contracts, emphasizing that they are not mere abstract concepts but rather possess tangible power over our lives.

As we transition into the transformative message of hope, we assert that liberation from these detrimental agreements is not only possible but promised through Jesus Christ. The invitation to partake in a new covenant—characterized by truth, freedom, and abundant life—is extended to all. We emphasize the importance of actively recognizing and dismantling the lies that have ensnared us, as we embark on a journey of tearing up these contracts. The process involves a conscientious effort to identify the spiritual and emotional burdens that have been placed upon us, and to reclaim our agency by rejecting the false narratives that have dictated our existence. The discussion culminates in a call to action, urging listeners to participate in a prophetic act of tearing up their false agreements and reaffirming their commitment to God's truth as articulated in scripture.

The episode concludes with a poignant reminder of the superior covenant offered by God, contrasting it with the deceptive allure of the enemy's promises. We reflect on the significance of standing firm in the truth of God's word, thereby establishing a foundation of security and life as opposed to the transient and ultimately destructive offerings of the world. This multifaceted exploration not only elucidates the core message of breaking free from false contracts but also empowers listeners to actively engage in the process of spiritual renewal and covenantal affirmation, thereby ushering in a transformative era of living under the auspices of divine promise and assurance.

Speaker A:

How many of us have actually read the terms and conditions before clicking I agree.

Speaker A:

We trust to the surface.

Speaker A:

We want the access.

Speaker A:

We assume everything is fine.

Speaker A:

But then months later, we realize we gave something away that's very valuable without even knowing it.

Speaker A:

The enemy works the same way.

Speaker A:

He hides death in fine print.

Speaker A:

He deals.

Speaker A:

His deals seem harmless or even helpful.

Speaker A:

But buried beneath the surface are clauses of compromise, destruction and deception.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

What is a good looking option that have you taken that will lead you to regret?

Speaker A:

Ignorance is still agreement.

Speaker A:

2 Corinthians 2:11.

Speaker A:

In order that Satan might not outwit us, we are not unaware of his schemes.

Speaker A:

Even though we don't realize it, if you operate under a lie, it still has power over you.

Speaker A:

Some of us are bound by word curses spoken over us, inner vows like I'll never trust again, family patterns of addiction, fear and Poverty.

Speaker A:

These are all spiritual contracts.

Speaker A:

And what you don't confront, you continue.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, God offers a better covenant.

Speaker A:

Hebrews 8:6 says, but in fact the ministry Jesus has received is superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is Mediator is superior to the old one.

Since the new covenant is established on better promises.

Where the devil offers shortcuts, God offers security.

Speaker A:

Where Satan offers lies, God offers life.

Speaker A:

Where hell demands heaven deliver us.

Jesus didn't just come to forgive our sins.

But today, by the blood of Jesus, I tear up those contracts.

Speaker A:

I cancel the enemy's claim over my life.

Speaker A:

I sign your covenant built on truth, freedom and eternal life.

Speaker A:

Thank you for setting me free.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Here are some questions for reflection.

Speaker A:

What lie have I believed that I now need to renounce?

Speaker A:

What relationship, habit or mindset might be false?

Speaker A:

A false contract in disguise?

Speaker A:

What truth in God's word do I need to stand on as my new covenant?

Speaker A:

In the next message, we'll tear up another dangerous deal the one culture keeps handing us.

Speaker A:

Culture tells us what to wear, how to think, who to be, and what success looks like.

Speaker A:

But what if the culture contract is keeping you from your kingdom?

Speaker A:

Calling in next week's Cancel the Culture Contract.
